Chromatic aberration is an optical phenomenon that causes colors to be focused at different points. It occurs when a lens fails to focus all colors to the same convergence point, resulting in color fringing or blurring in the final image. This can be seen as colored halos or fringes around the edges of objects in a photograph. Chromatic aberration can be corrected through the use of specialized lens coatings or software processing techniques. **

Distortion refers to the alteration of the shape or size of an object in an image, typically caused by the characteristics of the camera lens. Aberration, on the other hand, refers to the imperfections in the way a lens focuses light, resulting in blurriness, color fringing, or other distortions in the image. While distortion affects the overall shape of objects in an image, aberration affects the clarity and sharpness of the image. **
